Rainbow Woods, New York's premier GAY campground is located on the Schroon River in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in Northern New York State.

Our campground was established in the summer of 1999, and has become a wonderful alternative vacation spot where you can get back to old time camping in a country atmosphere. It is a great place to enjoy and make new friends. The campground offers you a chance to relax and unwind in a gay-friendly environment.

Spend a few hours, all day, a weekend or really enjoy yourself with a weeks vacation. Relax in the waters of the Schroon River, enjoy a canoe ride, or take a long leisurely nature hike.

Your experience here is what you as a camper make of it. It can be a quiet relaxing break or it can be as exciting as you want to make it. Enjoy yourself as you relax amongst your friends or mosey on in to the center of the campground where at night it gets as lively and exciting as your fellow campers make it.

Everyone is welcome to join the crowd or stay amongst your self for a quiet evening. Either way we are happy to have you.

Pets belonging to overnight guests are always welcome at the campground. Please be aware that all pets MUST be on a leash at all times and you MUST pick up after them.

Pets of guests who are visiting for the day only are not allowed.
